  1. RMD Networks (Reach My Doctor) offers the ability to connect providers to one another as well as to their patients through an email-like private messaging system. It also contains a connected clinical registry with care plans (Diabetes, Asthma, etc) that are supported by evidence-based guidelines. As a web-based application, it is easy to deploy and a valuable way to address the lack of communication and coordination in today’s fragmented health care world. And with Meaningful Use of EMRs being defined now, applications in the “clinical groupware” space like Reach My Doctor are envisioned to meet many of their requirements so that providers can earn increased premiums from Medicare and Medicaid.
